WILLIAM, b. 1681; removed to Rye, 1700, where he received 240 acres from his father in 171 I. In 1706, he owned lands at Toffy's Island. He m. Mary, daughter of Joseph Drake of East Chester. He evidently sold his interest in the property in Flushing, to his brother Benjamin. He d. in Oct., 1731; will dated 30 Sept., 1731; proved 15 Oct., 1731 (Book XI, p. 185, N. Y. County); styles himself of "Ton Meadow;" mentions wife Mary and the following children: Executor, "brother John Fowler of Rye," wife Mary and William Ferguson. (Wife then pregnant.)
