Appears in Census of June 1900 in St. Louis with a new husband (apparently married ca 1896 - the August 1896 memoir of her uncle Otto Matz has her still married to Christensen.) and three children from a previous marriage, one child from current marriage.
In 1910 Census only Ida and son Charlie Shew are listed. Ida is a widow. Living at 1218 Hickory Street, St. Louis.
Death record in 1934 shows her as married to Chetser Shew, but the information seems to have been provided by a neighbor, Mrs. P. Schwable, of the same address. Her father’s name is given as Charles Seifert born in Germany.
