Application for her first passport in April 1924 says Rumford Point, Maine. Current residence is Hubbard Woods, Illinois. Vouched for by attorney Darrell S. Boyd who had known her for 12 years - her brother-in-law. Also says that the tip of her right index finger is missing.
Returning from France with her mother on 14 September 1924 she is listed on the passenger manifest as being born in Rumford, Maine.
1930 Census shows her at age 35, unmarried and living with her mother in Winetka Village, New Trier Township, Illinois. Says she was born in Maine (1920 Census also says Maine).
Apparently never married as death certificate record uses Matz.
