June 1917 - WWI draft registration in Houston, Texas working in an automobile business, married

Married twice? He appears to be in Houston, Harris County, Texas in 1920 census, married to “Layke R.” who is a year older and who was born in Texas. IHe is a bookkeeper in a bank. His parents were born in Iowa and New York, hers in Tennessee and Georgia. In the same area of Houston there is also a one year old named Edward C. Schramm, Jr. born in Texas, living with his mother Maud L., age 39 who was born in Iowa of German parents and her husband Fred age 57 born in England, a railroad inspector who owns a home at 4902 McKenney.

But in 1930 Census his son Edward age 11 is living with him along with his wife, born in Texas and a year older than her husband, and two daughters Joy age 8 and Bonnie age 5, all of the children born in Texas. They appear to own their house at 5001 McKinney. Wife’s name is Lakyo ?, they have been married for 16 years, he is a bank teller, his father born in Iowa and mother born in New York, her father born in Tennessee and mother from DC. (she said Georgia in 1920).
