My grandfather sent these photos to his mother’s relatives in Tramonti di Mezzo in the 1950s. We found them in 1999 when we visited a family living in a part of my great grandmother Bidoli’s family home. These scans were sent back to me in 2014. My grandparents hosted birthday party fundraisers for Boston’s Archbishop Cushing for a few years in the 1950s at their home in Marblehead, Massachusetts. The woman on the left helped organize the events.

Who knew that the Archbishop could play the accordian!
