1961, 1963 and 1965 directories also say he is a baker, at the Cafe Roma (in Boston’s North End, owned by his aunt Angelina Marmai and her daughter Jacqueline), living at 5 Alicia Road, also the residence of his grandmother.

In the 1966, 1968 and 1970 directories he still lives at 5 Alicia Road, but now works for Quality Baking Company.

1976 and 1977 directories say he is supervisor for the Postal Service and lives at 5 Melbourne Road, Dorchester.
