Daughter’s obituary:
Angelina G. Lopilato, 96, died suddenly Thursday evening, May 30, 2002 at the Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett, MA. Mrs. Lopilato had lived in Everett, MA for the last 49 Years and was previously from Malden. Angelina was in customer service for New York Central Railroad, in Boston and had worked there for 25 years retiring in 1975. Mrs. Lopilato was also a fashion designer for a Couture House in Boston for 8 years. She was a former member of the Revere Ladies Lodge # 1601. She loved flowers and working in her garden as well as spending time with her 13 grandchildren & 20 great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters Rita A. Kane of Pittsfield & Jean S. Conforti of Everett, her sons, Orlando A. Conforti of Malden & Louis G. Lopilato of NY.
She was preceded in death by her husband Louis G. Lopilato, her father Orlando Cuoco, her mother Sophie Perillo, her son Joseph A. Conforti, her brothers Anthony Cuoco & Orlando Cuoco, and her sister Bernice Marmai.
She was born October 11, 1905 Albanelia, Italy, the daughter of the late Orlando and Sophie (Perillo) Cuoco. Her family moved to the Boston area in 1908.
Visitation will be held at the Weir - MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral, 144 Salem St., Malden, on Sunday, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 3, 2002 at 9:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Grace Church, 59 Nichols St., Chelsea. Fr. James J. Barry will be the celebrate. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery in Everett, MA
