18 August 1923, Leonardo Ferroli, age 29, left his wife Maria Varnerin in Tramonti di Mezzo and came through Ellis Island, going to join his uncle, Gio. Batt. Ferroli, at 45 Brook Avenue in Roxbury, Massachusetts.
A week earlier, on 11 August 1923, Antonio Ferroli, age 31, made his first trip to the US and said he was traveling to join his uncle Giobatta Ferroli in Boston and leaving behind his wife Lucia Ferroli in Tramonti di Mezzo.
In April 1930 he traveled from Genoa to the US, giving Boston as his last permanent address.
