Notes for Marie Louise Rugo
“Mamie”

December 2005: “She served as a Brownie troop leader, Sunday school teacher, slumber party hostess, dedicated Little League mom and overall number-one fan of all of her children in their many activities.
The family also enjoyed annual summer vacations to Gooserocks Beach in Kennebunkport, Maine, frequent trips to visit family in Detroit and later in Philadelphia, Virginia and Boston, and camping at Maidstone. Marie was particularly well known for truly making the kitchen the heart of her home, and many of the favorite family memories center around food, particularly the special traditions including the annual making of Pannetone at the farm, Anti-Pasto with her sister-in-law, as well as Congo Bars, Tostadas, Vetele Tune and Oysters Rockefeller! ... She also worked for more than 20 years in her profession as a dental hygienist.

She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, J.D. Jones, Lilly Jones and Trisha Badeau, all of Vermont, Jose Badeau of Switzerland, Renee, Fisher, David, Abel, SueAnn, George, Florinda, Chelsea, Isaac, Raj, Joelle, Geeta, Todd, Dylan, Wayne, Alysia and Aaron Badeau, all of Pennsylvania, Stephen and Michael Comolli of South Barre, Alexander and Pari Ahmadi of Medfield, Mass. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, four nieces, two nephews, her husband's three children, and a large extended family. She was predeceased in 1999 by one grandson, Adam, of Philadelphia.“
