Notes for Antonio Rufo
A stone cutter from someplace near Rome. He was working in Barre, Vermont when he met his wife and they moved to Concord, New Hampshire after their marriage.

They returned to his home village in Italy for two years but then went back to Concord. They opened a boarding house when they returned to Concord. When he became sick and couldn’t work she closed the dining room of the boarding house and began selling vegetables and flowers from her garden to make ends meet. This became the Rufo Florist business.

1920 census shows them at 38 Walker Street, Concord, New Hampshire with four children. Also, boarders, Nathan Miniutti, age 28, a stone cutter, born in Italy and Mabel M. Miniutti, age 20, born in Italy, a waitress; both are married, presumably they are Natale Miniutti and Amabile “Mabel” Rugo Miniutti who are the right ages and had their first child the following year.
