“Rudolph E. Miniutti Sr., 90, of Clearwater, Fla. passed away peacefully Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014. His wife of 68 years, Norma (Drown) Miniutti was by his side.
He was born in Concord on Sept. 21, 1924, the son of Pasquale and Mabel (Rugo) Miniutti. He served with the
U.S. Marine Corps on Iwo Jima during
World War II and received the
Purple Heart for injuries sustained in battle.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Donna Carlson and her partner, Bart Bartelsman and Debra Naff and her husband, Joseph; and one son, Rudolph E. Miniutti Jr. and his wife, Katrina; six grandchildren, Shayna Wright, Kimberly Furmonavicius, Kendra and Gregory Carlson, Rachel Blanton and Brielle Miniutti; five great-grandchildren, Lily and Emma Wright, Romeo and Sloane Furmonavicius, and Harley Blanton. He is also survived by one sister, Estelle King, of Concord.
He is predeceased by five siblings, Arlene, Phyllis, Douglas, Joan, and David. “
