“Douglas Natale Miniutti Sr., 84, of Concord passed away on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at Concord Hospital.
He was born in Concord on May 24, 1928, a son of Natale and Mabel (Rugo) Miniutti. He attended Concord schools and was a lifelong resident of Concord where he lived, worked and raised his family.
He was a veteran of the Korean war, serving in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953.
Following the military, Douglas worked 38 years for Rumford Press until it closed. He later worked at St. Peter's Church before his retirement.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 613, VFW No. 21 and the Royal Order of the Moose. He enjoyed playing golf, traveling and cooking for groups. He was a longtime parishioner of St. Peter's Church.
He was predeceased by three sisters, Arlene Miniutti, Phyllis McGarrigle and Joan Beauchesne and a brother, David Miniutti.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia (Hoar) Miniutti of Concord; a son, Douglas Miniutti Jr. and his wife, Carol of Burleson, Texas; two daughters, Susan Cataldi of Dallas, Texas, and Cynthia Murphy and her husband, Mathew of Goffstown; a brother, Rudolph Miniutti of Clearwater, Fla., a sister, Estelle A. King of Concord; seven grandchildren, Douglas Miniutti III, Kimberly Patmon, Christopher and Jennifer Cataldi and Rose, Joseph and Daniel Murphy; two great-grandchildren, Ashlyn and Aisley Patmon and nieces and nephews.”
