“Loraine Annabel Fanny, 82, died of natural causes at Sky Lakes Medical Center in Klamath Falls on Monday, June 21, 2010.
At her request, there will be no formal funeral services. Disposition was by Pyramid Cremations.
Those wishing to do so may send contributions in memory of Mrs. Fanny to the Klamath Basin Senior Citizens Center's Meals on Wheels Program, P.O. Box JE, Klamath Falls, OR 97603.
Loraine was born in Chicago, Ill., on May 27, 1928, to John and Elizabeth (Murdoch) Auld.
On Sept. 11, 1954, she was married to Albert Fanny in Chicago.
Loraine worked as a restaurant manager and retired in 1993.
She and her husband moved to Klamath Falls from Chicago in 2004.
Loraine was a member of the Roman Catholic Church and she enjoyed traveling, baking, reading and taking care of her family and her pets Lucy and Gonzo.
She is survived by her husband Albert and her nephew Jack Koblos and his wife Felice of Klamath Falls; a nephew Kevin Frei and his wife Elyse of Wheeling, Ill.; her sisters-in-law Elizabeth Auld of Lake Mary, Fla., and Colette Rotunno of Prospect Heights, Ill.; and several nieces, other nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Mark Fanny, her brother John Auld and her sister Irene Koblos.
