One of the children was apparently refered to as “Ned” and was a general in the Army Air Corps WWII. Ned Schramm is in San Antonio, Texas for the April 1930 Census. Says he was born in Iowa, as was his father, and his mother was born in Vermont. Age is 33, so born ca. 1896-1897. Could this be the same person as Charles in 1900 and 1910 Census?

1900 Census in Burlington shows three sons. 1910 Census in Seattle shows three sons and a daughter, but says that they have three children. All four children are shown as single, not as a daughter in law. But this does appear to be Frederick’s wife Gertrude living with them in Seattle.
