Manifest says he is at “41 Williams Court Ave. Dorchester”, but it is probably Willow Court, just across Massachusetts Avenue from Norfolk Avenue. Her first name seems to be spelled Melania on manifest. Place of birth is Brebbia. Says that she is a dressmaker. Recently living in Ispra and that she left her father Giuseppe Bindo? in di Como. (There is a town of Ispra on the shore of Lake Maggiore, not far from Brebbia, but no “Ispra di Como” on the map. Bindo is a rare surname in Italy; there do not seem to be any near Ispra or Brebbia today.) Binda is probably the correct surname; it is fairly common and appears on children’s birth records.

Admitted to citizenship 2 February 1931, age 47, living at 7 Jarvis Place, Roxbury.

Melania Graglia returned through New York on 6 October 1952 going home to 7 Dennison Street, Boston, age 69.
