7 Oct 1940, Victoria Rugo of Boston bought a house in Hull on a corner lot, the north side of “J” St. and east side of Bay Avenue. Plymouth County Registry of Deeds Book 1797, Page 233. Bay Ave. later became Cadish Ave. and this appears to be the house numbered 72 Cadish Ave. in 2004. In Oct. 1954, she added property from the next door neighbor. In August 1958, the property was reconfigured by a plan drawn by Albert C. Rugo, 489 Blue Hills Parkway, Milton. John and Victoria retained the corner 4,433 sq.ft. lot and house. A lot of 5,001 sq.ft. on Cadish Ave. went to Albert C. and his wife Maureen A. Rugo. A lot of 5,061 sq.ft. on J St. went to Ruth H. Rugo, wife of Severino. In July, 1971, Victoria’s property was sold by Severino as her conservator. Maureen sold her property in Jan. 1972 and Ruth sold hers in April, 1972.
She was a resident of Hingham, Massachusetts at the time of her death. Her estate also sold property on Willow Court, Dorchester (aka 20 Enterprise Street) which she had acquired in 1928 and at 266 Quincy St. (aka 6 Baker Ave. which she had acquired in 1926).
